FAQ

How does the Sip Sling work?

It's simple.

Fill the 1L hydration bladder with water, slide the top securely closed and place it into the dedicated hydration compartment. Secure it using the internal straps.

Feed the drinking tube through the opening and along the shoulder strap, then connect it to the bladder by pushing it into the port until you hear a click.

Once you're waring the Sip Sling, the mouth piece sits within easy reach - so when you're thirsty, just grab, sip and keep moving.

Can I use it for running and hiking?

The Sip Sling is designed for walking rather than running, so we do not recommend it as a running hydration pack.

For hiking, absolutely. It's a great option for shorter hikes and day walks. For longer adventures, we recommend choosing routes where you'll have access to safe drinking water along the way so you can refill the 1L bladder when needed.

How do I clean the hydration system?

We recommend rinsing the bladder and drinking tube after each use and giving the system a thorough clean regularly.

Use warm water and mild dish soap to clean the inside of the bladder. The drinking tube can be cleansed using a hydration system tube cleaning brush.

Rinse everything thoroughly to remove any soap residue.

If you've had anything other than plain water, clean the hydration system as soon as possible after use.

Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, abrasive cleaners unless specifically recommended for hydration systems.

How do I dry and store the hydration system?

After cleaning, leave the bladder open to air dry completely before storing it. Make sure the tube, mouthpiece and other components are also dry to help prevent unwanted odours and build-up.

We recommend drying the bladder upside down with the opening facing down, using an eggbeater or similar utensil to gently prop it open and allow air to circulate inside.

Once completely dry, store bladder propped open to maintain airflow. The slider can be placed inside the bladder to keep the opening apart during storage.

Keep the hydration system somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sunlight.

Never store the bladder while it's still damp or contains water.
